Using Microsoft Office on a tablet is probably high on your want list if you work in more than one location. And while Microsoft promises to help on that front in one case Windows 8 tablets are in the passionate, upstart CloudOn jumped the hired gun in Jan by providing a virtualized Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for the iPad. Straightaway that app is expanding globally and broadening its features to do more than than Office does alone. Although CloudOn first centered purely on providing access code to Microsoft's productivity suite, its next goal is to repose on top of Office.

Microsoft, meantime, will send off its much-anticipated Surface RT tab inititally with Office Household and Student 2022 RT Preview. When the final code appears there is unknown, and Redmond continues to traverse rumors that it will soon offer Federal agency for Android and the iPad.
